As many students are driven twice a day from as far as Montecito, carpooling can cut down on time spent driving, as well as help DP’s notorious morning traffic. The new match service is easy to use and provides users with neighboring families’ contact info to arrange carpools. Go to www.DPHS.org, click on “Parents” then “Carpool Interest” to find a carpool. Please tell your friends and other parents about this new service so that we can build a critical mass and make it a useful tool for DP families. Carpooling is the easiest way to double or triple the gas mileage of any car, reduce traffic and pollution on our roads, and build community. Try it today! |
